The ALN Book Club will launch with a reading of “Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI” by #1 New York Times best selling author, Yuval Noah Harari.
ALN Chair and CEO Jim Dieter will lead the discussions in 3 open Zoom meetings. He says the book provides important new ways to think about information, networks, documents, bureaucracy, and more issues that are extremely relevant for asset leadership and asset management.
The book is divided into 3 sections – Human Networks; The Inorganic Network; and Computer Politics.
The 3 discussions, one for each section, will be held at 3 pm Eastern on the last Tuesday of February, March, and April.
February 25, 2025 – 3 pm Eastern – Prologue and Human Networks
March 25, 2025 – 3 pm Eastern – The Inorganic Network
April 29, 2025 – 3 pm Eastern – Computer Politics and Epilogue
