Create Adequate Digital Twins
NextGov.com reports on a call by U.S. legislators for the Department of Defense to improve the quality of their digital twins so they can be fully useful through the entire lifecycle of the physical object. Digital twins are virtual representations of physical objects. The digital twin can contain any relevant information about the physical object, thereby assisting the security and maximization of value. The House Armed Services Committee calls for the next National Defense Authorization Act to address resources allocated to digital twins and other cybersecurity issues.
