Asset Management

Last week, the United Nations published the comprehensive “Managing Infrastructure Assets for Sustainable Development: A Handbook for Local and National Governments.” While intended for nations, any organization can find something useful in the more than 400-page PDF available for free at this link. The document mentions the ISO 55K structure, but provides its own approach to Asset Management Action Plans, a Diagnostic Tool, templates, case studies, a glossary and more.

Interested Governments can learn ways and means of translating policy frameworks into programs.
