ALN Update May 2018

We are pleased to announce the Andrew James Advisory Group has joined the ALN. They will be providing training that leads to ISO 55000 Professional Certification from ALN. Other members can also provide training leading to ALN Certification.

The Andrew James Advisory Group will also be providing a White Paper on ISO 55000 for Utilities and contributing to a White Paper on ISO 55000 and Capitol Planning.

Gordian Group has renewed its membership and will be writing a White Paper addressing Accurate Cost Data to Inform Asset Management Systems.

A Committee has been formed to establish the process by which ALN enables ISO 55000 Professional Certification. Marlene Millemaci will lead the Committee.

The White Paper on Asset Management and High Performance Organizations is being viewed and downloaded  by more than 500 in less than one month.

A seminar/webinar based on this White Paper is being planned for the third week of June.

Senator Carper’s office is helping ALN secure the Capitol Visitor Center for presentations on Wednesday 14 November, 2018. We are looking into having a morning event at an OMB space on Thursday 15 November. The Federal Facility Council is hosting the opening day Tuesday 13 November.

The ALN is preparing a Scope of Work Template for federal agencies to engage assistance with ISO 55000 compliance. Ken Tourison is leading the authoring team.

At meetings with Directors at The National Institutes of Health and the USACE Civil Works we learned of strong interest in ISO 55000 certification. ALN is preparing guidance that can be replicated by other agencies.

A Committee is being formed to redraft the Property Act.

A new web site page has been created to host videos. A series of interviews have been recorded and are being posted on the Video page at www.AssetLeadership.net
