Federal Leadership in Asset Management Policy Forum

Asset Management Sector Summits

Tuesday, October 20, 2015

The Federal Facilities Council (FFC) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and the Asset Leadership Network (ALN) are hosting a leadership forum to improve Federal asset management policies and strategies. This forum will be held October 20th and 21st at the National Academy of Sciences Building at 2101 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC.

The agenda for the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20 features multiple Asset Management Sector Summits. A few of these events will be held at the NAS facility on Constitution Avenue, and others will be held at other Washington, DC area locations. Each summit will have a host organization working in conjunction with the Asset Leadership Network.

Each of the summits will bring together diverse interests within the sector; asset holders, professional associations, vendors and service providers, regulators and standards developers, with the goal of impact actions related to asset management. Each summit will be asked to participate in an Asset Management Maturity Assessment for the sector, but will control its own agenda, speakers, participants, and approach. Targeted attendees are sector Asset Management thought leaders and those especially interested in realizing value from organizational assets through the use ISO 55000 and related standards.

Confirmed summits include:

Success of the summits will not be gauged on the number of participants (though we certainly hope to have large numbers of contributors), but on the strength of ideas, actionable outcomes, and contributions to understanding and improvement of Asset Management.

All interested attendees can reserve your place in one of the Sector Summits by registering for the Forum and indicating your sector choice.  The Summit Lead will contact you with specifics on the meeting.
